About the materials

Santos Rosewood has a brown colour with contrasting black streaks. The wood is mainly found in south American countries such as Brazil and Bolivia. The inside of the ring is lined with a gold-brown strip of Cherry wood, contrasting nicely against the darker Rosewood. Additionally, this ring is fitted with an inlay made from New Mexico Blue Turquoise.
Note that the colour of your ring may slightly vary from the ones pictured above making each ring truly unique.

 

The bentwood technique explained

This ring is made by hand, using the bentwood technique. The wood is steamed and then bent around the circumference of the ring. The result of this process is a thin yet very strong ring. Note that there will always be a seam in every bentwood ring. This seam is more or less visible depending on the type of wood your ring is made of. 

 

The rings finish

The ring is finished with a mix of CA and water-resistant varnish, giving it some extra shine and protection. The ring is protected against occasional soaking. I strongly recommend taking it off when showering, washing your hands, doing manual labour or during the night.

Rings can be ordered in just about any size. If the desired size isn't available in the list, you can add your size as a note when ordering. To determine the correct ring size, I recommend seeking the help of any respected jeweller. It is very important that you choose the correct ring size when placing your order as these rings cannot be resized!
