About the materials

Through the smoking process the Eucalyptus wood obtains a very dark colour that runs all the way through the wood. This makes it a much more affordable alternative to Ebony wood. Because most of the smoked Eucalyptus found in Europe comes from sustainable plantations its harvest is a lot easier and less damaging to the environment than Ebony. Additionly, this ring is fitted with a red opal and copper inlay.
Note that the colour of your ring may slightly vary from the ones pictured above making each ring truly unique.

 

How the ring is made

This ring is made by hand, using the bentwood technique. The wood is steamed and then bent around the circumference of the ring. The result of this process is a thin yet very strong ring. Note that there will always be a seam in every bentwood ring. This seam is more or less visible depending on the type of wood your ring is made of. To make this ring truly unique it is fitted with an inlay of Red Opal, Orange Opal and Red Jasper

 

The rings finish

The ring is finished with a mix of CA and water-resistant varnish, giving it some extra shine and protection. The ring is protected against occasional soaking. I strongly recommend taking it off when showering, washing your hands, doing manual labour or during the night.

Rings can be ordered in just about any size. If the desired size isn't available in the list, you can add your size as a note when ordering. To determine the correct ring size, I recommend seeking the help of any respected jeweller. It is very important that you choose the correct ring size when placing your order as these rings cannot be resized!
