About the materials
Through the smoking process the Eucalyptus wood obtains a very dark colour that runs all the way through the wood. This makes it a much more affordable alternative to Ebony wood. Because most of the smoked Eucalyptus found in Europe comes from sustainable plantations its harvest is a lot easier and less damaging to the environment than Ebony.

This ring is made by hand, using the bentwood technique. The wood is steamed and then bent around the circumference of the ring. The result of this process is a thin yet very strong ring. Note that there will always be a seam in every bentwood ring. This seam is more or less visible depending on the type of wood you ring is made of. To make this ring truly unique it is fitted with an inlay of Red Opal, Orange Opal and Red Jasper
The rings finish
The ring is finished with a mix of CA and water-resistant varnish, giving it some extra shine and protection. Like with all wooden rings we strongly recommend taking it off when washing hands, dealing with chemicals or for manual labour though.
